These guys are my heroes. I'm not even kidding, they totally saved me and then went above and beyond after that. Long story short, someone keyed my car and damaged my door lock a couple of years ago. I made the claim right away but then procrastinated on following through with the repairs (for which there is a 2-year time limit if you want it covered by your insurance). I figured I'd have all the time in the world to get it done but then suffered a health condition that took me out for the months leading up to my 2-year deadline. So there's me, trying to find an auto body shop that would take my car in for repair on less than a week's notice. I initially didn't realize how ridiculous of a request that was until I spoke to my insurance provider and then called a large number of other auto body shops. Turns out they all have a 6-week ... waiting list right now. I literally got laughed at when I called some auto body shops to ask if they could take me right away. But Boyd Autobody Richmond was sympathetic to my situation and agreed to take my car right away, despite how busy they are. I was already on cloud 9 and so incredibly grateful when I went in to pick up my car. But little did I know, they still had one surprise left for me. After paying my deductible and getting my keys, I walked out to my car to examine their work. It was perfect. I then jumped in my car, prepared to drive off, when I looked around and saw that my car was immaculately clean. I was shocked. To put this into perspective, my car has not been that clean in years. I have two huskies, both of which shed like you wouldn't believe and love to run through mud, as well as the sand at the beach after getting wet. And then they get in my car. I literally gave up on trying to keep my car clean years ago. And I'm pretty sure there was close to an inch of husky hair than had accumulated on the floor of my back seats, which I tended to ignore because I have a little 2-door BMW so it was hard to get to that area and I never really had to see it anyway. So let's just say, I was convinced my car would never be clean again unless I paid at least $500 for a professional to detail it. I in no way expected Boyd Autobody to clean the inside of my car like that...and BMW certainly doesn't do it whenever I've taken my car in for servicing (not that I can blame them, lol). But Boyd Autobody Richmond went above and beyond on that front. I don't even want to know how many hours it took the poor guy assigned that task to complete it. I was so impressed and grateful that I ran back inside and asked if I could give the guy who cleaned my car a tip. But they, with a smile, said no, it's all good, and they would pass along my thanks. These guys are VERY professional. I took my car in for auto body repair and was told that it would take about four days to complete the work. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me on the second day that they had finished the work. They fixed my car, so much that the dented side now looks brand new. They even cleaned the interior of my car. Wow, I'm lookiing to save some money for some more auto body work on my car. Thank you guys.

Finally found my guy, been looking for Miguel for years, he left my neighbourhood shop years ago, I honestly been looking for him for 3 years now. When you find a guy that truly respects your car and treats it like his own. You will use no one else. I had a crack in my brand New Yukon. Was sitting on it because I trusted no one to fix it. Once I found Miguel I booked a appointment and had it fixed in 3 days. That's With ordering in my factory replacement, after other shops told me it could not be done. Thanks Miguel and team. Incredibly grateful to the team at the Lakewood location. We were on a tight timeline to repair paint damage, and they went above and beyond to get the job done quickly. It was less than 48 hours from the time we called to when we picked up our vehicle, and the work was immaculate - you would never guess there had been damage at all! Linda was particularly fantastic, totally understanding of our situation and took the time to explain our options and make sure we were taken care of.
